Rigging Reel
Presenting an advanced creature rig with FK/IK controls for arms, legs, spine, and wings, along with twisty and stretchy capabilities. Additionally, space lock setup allows for locking hand motion to head, chest, and hip. Equipped with automatic wings folding controls. The rig is entirely joint-driven and scalable.
Also showcased is a character animation marking menu tool developed using Python and MEL. This tool facilitates pose flipping, mirroring, and snapping between FK/IK, offering animators a versatile and convenient solution.
Furthermore, a highly detailed facial rig is presented, demonstrating facial controls, blendshapes, stretch and squash functionalities, and even customized features for eyelashes.
Next, introduced is a majestic arowana fish with automatic swimming controls and dynamic fins. Notably, its shape-shifting face adapts to the requirements of the narrative.
Following suit is a meticulously skinned alligator, ensuring lifelike movement and realism.
Concluding the presentation is a crowd simulation-ready jellyfish rig. This rig features automated movement and dynamics of the tentacles baked into the design, optimizing performance for hardware. A pulsing texture glow is programmed to synchronize with the jellyfish's movement.
